AMINO ACID CaMg LIQUID is a liquid compound of calcium magnesium and amino acids produced by hydrolysis of natural protein. The unique formulation with amino acids corrects calcium deficiencies stimulating simultaneously the metabolism of the plant. It is a multifunctional product performing at the same time as fertilizer (organic nitrogen), bio-stimulant (free amino acids and peptides promote rapid recovery in the event of stress) and calcium deficiency corrector.
It is suitable for both foliar and soil application; however, we specially recommend foliar spraying due to the complexing and carrier properties of free amino acids formulated in the compound which are leading to the rapid and efficient leaf penetration of calcium.The long chain peptides are responsible for the natural viscosity that makes the product stick on leaves very well
Amino acids are natural chelates able to ligate ("link") with microelements and form a metal complex. Free amino acids are also very effective in conveying the linked microelements through the cells to the sites of utilization helping to overcome chemical and physical barriers of the leaf cuticle, the cell wall and the lymphatic system. Combining calcium and amino acids in foliar spray solutions leads to an increase of treatment efficacy and reduces the fertilizer application dose.
The product applied in fertigation within a particular pH range preserve the calcium mineral from insolubility and soil regression keeping it available in the metabolic form mainly used by the plant.
Calcium proteinate corrects generally the main physiological disorders from calcium deficiency and improves the firmness of green tissues and fruits, leading to a crop shelf life extension. Beyond that, It prevents the risk of bitter pit and fruit cracking in pome fruits the blossom-end rot of tomato and solanaceous crops (potatoes and tobacco), the tip burn of leafy vegetables and the leaf and stalk spot of melon.
It is a homogeneous and fully water-soluble formulation and does not clog filters and nozzles of the irrigation and spraying system.
