Product Description
Calcium Bromide Brine is a single-salt solution, ready-to-use, to form clear brine workover and completion fluids that require densities from 8.4 to 14.2 lb/gal (1007 to 1702 kg/m3).
Physical Properties
Application
Calcium Bromide Brine is used during workover and completion operations to provide a clear brine fluid at a density up to 14.2 lb/gal (1700 kg/m3). It provides inhibition, preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays, and can be used as packer fluids or to adjust the density of other brine systems. It may also be used in the aqueous phase of invert emulsion systems.
Recommended Handling
All personnel handling this material must handle it as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Packaging and Storage
Packed in 55 USG HDPE drum or 1000 Litres IBC (Tote tank).
Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and /or stacking.
